You need to have some knowledge and skills to successfully climb Mont Blanc in the summer. You will be able to get them at the training, which we hold every year in the winter in our Rada Daraba camp. This is training in mountaineering techniques. You will learn to use the equipment correctly, without which no access to high mountains and even in the winter Carpathians is possible. Learn how to put on crampons properly, why you need an ice ax and how to use it, what communication work is and why it is needed.
This training is called an alpine seminar. At the alpine seminar, you study the theoretical part, but practice takes more time. Therefore, you need to be ready to go to the mountains every day. It also provides a great opportunity to test your gear so that it doesn't let you down in the mountains at the most unexpected moment.
