Trekking to Moldovyanu in Romania

• departure from Ternopil at 9 am
• crossing Ukrainian border with Romania at midnight
• on the other side of the native state, you realize that almost nothing has changed. You can see the same villages, a bit differently covered roofs of houses, people are still speaking Ukrainian. But by travelling deeper into the country, you may have some problems with communication, because Romanians do not understand English, so language of gestures will come in handy

• when we arrive to the village Sâmbăta de Sus, we're spending the night, then, after waking up,  we do morning exercises and go on journey
• we will be climbing along the Sâmbăta to cabana (café for tourists). We will break camp. There is a hermit’s cave Arseniy nearby. It is said that the hermit came to this region in the 30 years of the nineteenth century. For four years, he has been digging a cave and has been living there for about seventy years. He died at a very old age.
• daily distance approximately 7 km

• after an early breakfast we will go hiking
• the day begins with climbing to Mount Fereastra Mare and Mount Galasescu Mic, and then to Lake Galasescu. Mountain landscapes are just impressive because of the beauty of Romanian Carpathians.
• climbing to Mount Moldovyanu. Large chains will help you during trekking. You will see the wonderful view from the top of the mountains
• we will overcome difficult descent and will be climbing to another new peak - Mount Corabia
• after descend from the top, we will break the camp and rest
• daily distance approximately 16 km

• with new strength we will go on climbing to a new peak - Mount Podragu
• from the top in half an hour you can get to another wild cabana, where you can find clean bed, shower and even ice cream. It is located between the steep hills at a height larger than Hoverla. It has no roads - everything is raised on donkeys. Prices are very expensive in this cabana.
• we will go down, where in the valley between mountains are shining two mirrors - Lake Podraga and Dzhyurdzhiuluy Lake. We will stop here for beautiful impressions and night rest
• daily distance approximately 9 km

• in that day we will go in direction to another picturesque pearl of the mountain – Lake Baleo. It is a place where the mountains dive to wash and clouds serve as a towel. It is extremely beautiful place
• This lake is the highest point of the famous alpine Highway Transfagarash (also called as «The Road to Heaven») is one of the strangest and most dangerous routes in the world. Its length reaches 150 km
• among this beauty we stay for the night

• moving in direction to Transylvania.
• visiting two beautiful towns Sinai and Brasov.
• day will be filled with impressions of a tour of one of the main historical and cultural monuments of Romania - the royal castle Peles.
• the second half of the day will be held in Brasov - a town in the old center which preserved all the attributes of the Middle Ages
• dinner and overnight

• Sighisoara is one of the most beautiful cities in Romania, which is also called the pearl of Transylvania. According to the legend, Vlad Tepes was born here, the same Count Dracula
• Turda is the oldest place of salt extraction in Romania. The visit to the Salt Mine is like journey into a completely different world. In addition, this mine was listed in "25 unusual sightseeing on the Earth". This salt palace really makes an unforgettable impression on visitors
