Rafting in Georgia

The expedition «Georgia: trekking, rafting + Kazbek” is still continuing. The participants have gone down from Kazbek and left Tbilisi behind, where they stopped according the program of tour. They were at the Bridge of Peace, that lights very nice at night, sweated at the sauna, eat shawarma and khachapuri. The stayed at night in the local hostel.
Soon group moved to Mckheta – the city is situated near Tbilisi. Not far from it there are an abbey and temple on the top of mountain. They stopped near the Mckheta. Here they try Georgian dishes as well, particularly khachapury and khinkali.
Yesterday group moved to the second part of the tour – rafting on Rioni. During three days they must passed more than 60 km through the Rioni rapids.
